Empowerment

By the end of the novel, Rat states, “Jun-no longer Rat. My name is Jun-Jun (pg.217). In my opinion  he said this because when Raphael and Gardo have never meet Jun-Jun, he was called Rat because he was alone in other side of the dumpsite and there's no one to take care of him. After the adventure, he realized he was worth much more than a rat. He was always needed and loved by the boys. He was more than just a rat. After the adventure was finished he realized that he is not a garbage boy anymore. He should be proud and happy because there is someone who will help him and take care of him
