In the last part of the story, Andy Mulligan or the author of the book make the dumpsite boys which were Gardo, Raphael and Jun-Jun to tell the last part of the story together. Andy Mulligan wants the reader of the book to know what are the boys thinking and feeling. This makes the story more exciting to read because the story continuous faster when they all tell the story at the same time. I think that this is a very good technique to use to end a story.
